Horsham DC has sent details of a survey on Climate Action as below.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Horsham District Council has produced a Draft Climate Action Strategy to help guide the District towards becoming carbon neutral and climate resilient by 2050 as we experience more frequent extreme weather events such as soaring temperatures and flash flooding. To help ensure the final Strategy covers the important issues and is prioritising what matters to the people who live and work in the district, the Council is asking for residents’ views on what this should contain in a short online survey.

We are promoting the survey through a variety of communications channels and any help in getting the word out about this survey would be very much appreciated as we want to gather as much feedback as possible from across the District. A separate survey focusing on business feedback will be issued shortly.

Horsham District Council cannot tackle climate change on its own. We will be working closely with key organisations such as West Sussex County Council, as well as residents, businesses, parishes and local community groups, to work together to help achieve this. This public survey is one stage in this process.

The survey runs until 31 August.
